Jam e Jam International TV

Two year after the Iranian Revolution, jam-e-jam television commenced the broadcast of its programs in august 1981. manouchehr bibiyan, the producer of the corporation of the most celebrated and professional writers, scholars, artists, professors and journalists who like himself had been forced into exile as a consequence of the iranian revolution.
Jaam-e-jam is named after Jamshid (Jam), the Iranian mythical king whose rule precedes the 2500 years of iran's written history. Jaam or the cup of jam (jaam-e-jam) enabled him to look into the world (as a crystal ball) and witness the world's events. jaam-e-jam television's mission has been to observe the world and to provide its viewers with objective analyses of international events.
Prior to the iranian Revolution, manouchehr bibiyan was iran's biggest producer of iranian music For twenty-five years (1945-1979), he produced eighty percent of Iran's music (on cassettes, records and videos).
The National Iranian Radio and Television (NIRT) produced less than ten percent of Iran's music, therfore, throughout this period, it largely broadcast the music which was produced by bibiyan's music company, Apollon. The most successful and celebrated Iranian singers were originally introduced to iranians by Apollon music company. With the cooperation of young and talented Iranian song writer and composers, Bibiyan revolutionized Iran's music industry.
Jaam-e-jam TV is in the process of publishing these and other interviews as an oral history project to provide scholars and students of Iranian Studies with a credible primary source.
Jaam-E-jam TV produces three different programs. Jaam-E-Jam International airs via the International Channel (IC) and covers most of the united States in addition to several other countries. Jaam-E-Jam Sunday airs via KSCI channel 18 and covers the southern California region.
